Chazz

Is it a name or a feeling?  Something smooth and jazzy, that’s what it is.  Corky DiFini had the concept and together with Danny Calico, created something special in Las Vegas.  Both guys had a dream that vocal harmonies could be lush and yet powerful to play the main stages in Las Vegas.  Later joined by two lovelies, Russine Zellner and Dolly Coulter, they began a journey into music history. 

Having played in all the major lounges and many of the main showrooms of the ‘Strip’, Chazz was also nominated for ‘Entertainer of the Year’ by Atlantic City Magazine as well.  The sweet yet sassy sound is reminiscent of ‘Manhattan Transfer’ and the ‘5th Dimension’ with an originality that’s all it’s own.  Spanning decades of music selection.   

‘Chazz’ continues to do songs of the 30’s and 40’s and on into the modern era.  The ‘oldies but goodies’ selections are there as well, sung in doo-wop fashion ‘a cappella’ in a medley called ‘The Street Corner Symphony’.  Each of the four vocalists is a soloist and can hold their own in a wonderful array of individual songs to compliment the four part harmonies they love.  Now over three decades since it’s inception, ‘Chazz’ is still wowing audiences in the best city of them all, Las Vegas.
